An artist who exemplifies the beloved Glitterbox sound, The Shapeshifters aka Simon Marlin returns to the label with ‘Beautiful Day’ featuring vocals from daughter of Soulstress Nina Whitaker, Liisi Lafontaine. Since his acclaimed Glitterbox LP ‘Let Loose’ and subsequent Deluxe edition, which saw the UK household name work with luminaries Billy Porter, Joss Stone, Teni Tinks and CHIC’s Kimberly Davis, Simon has remained one of the world’s most in-demand disco authorities. Now back in the studio after a relentless touring schedule, which saw him ring in the new year at Glitterbox’s Wembley takeover in 2024, Simon foregoes the signature disco strings of recent hits to make way for a heavier and progressive sound, rooted in memories formed at Glitterbox’s Hï Ibiza party and Defected Croatia.
